Generations Against Bullying held a Zumbathon fundraiser at Innovative Health and Fitness, Franklin, WI. 75 people had a great time dancing the Zumba for two hours, to help raise money for GAB’s Peer Ambassador Program, and Movie Night Events.
GAB’s student Peer Ambassadors learned the Zumba and told their individual stories about the training that they are receiving from GAB about how to be an upstander to help stop the bullying in their schools. A special appearance by GAB’s own character, Ircle the Mircle, added to the festival atmosphere.
Special thanks go to Mary Jo Bellinger, GAB Director, Innovative Health and Fitness, and their wonderful Zumba instructors, who donated their time to make this a very successful event.

I was so inspired and touched by this organization and the great things they are doing. I for one am going to get involved in some way, in hopes others do the same and bring more awareness to this growing problem in our society. Not only did we meet some great kid ambassadors, we also got to meet Sadie. If you haven’t read her story (which I’m sure have) please take the time to read it. They are all an inspiration to all!!
