Live and on Air, GAB Chosen Non-Profit of the Month.

On March 23, 2018 Terri, owner of All American Window and Door, presented a check for $1000.00 to Generations Against Bullying’s (GAB) Executive Director Linda Lee during the WTMJ’s We Love Wisconsin Tour, live at McBob’s Pub and Grill in Milwaukee, WI.

Terri has been a great friend and wonderful supporter of GAB. WTMJ host John Mercure and co-host Melissa Barclay interviewed Linda about the bullying problem. Linda described how GAB’s Peer Ambassador Upstander Program is the heart to “changing the culture of learning” in our schools.

Linda said, “Our Peer Ambassador Program is centered on creating upstanders in schools. If a bystander to bullying, becomes and upstander in a non-threatening way, the bullying will stop within 10 seconds 85% of the time. Bullying doesn’t occur in front of administrators, counselors or teachers, it occurs in front of the students, and they have the power to stop it. GAB’s Upstander Program is a positive approach to such a negative subject”.

Accompanying Linda was our GAB Peer Ambassador from Manitowoc, WI, Luke Smith and his mother Wendy. Luke described his history of being bullied and how his partnership with GAB has made a very, powerful, positive impact on his life and those around him.

GAB special, National spokesperson, Michael Turner, accompanied Linda to the program.

It’s been 56 times that the All American Window and Door We Love Wisconsin Tour has not only showcased our state on WTMJ, but given forward to charities based in our state.

At every stop, Terri Lodwick of All American Window and Door presents a $1,000 check to a charity in the region the We Love Wisconsin Tour travels.

This time, the check has gone to the Generations Against Bullying.
