Leia Rios had the pleasure to speak to the Brownies Girl Scout troop at Summit View Elementary school located in Waukesha , WI. She shared her story of being bullied due to her learning disability and how she was able to overcome it. Leia also engaged with the troop through an interactive role play usingpuppets and created skits on acts of bullying with the troop.  The Girl Scouts enjoyed learning from Leia’s story and were very engaged with creating and presenting the skits. At the end of the event, the Brownies Girl Scout troop #1326 took the pledge to become Upstanders against bullying.
