Lindsay Strean, co-host of Beauties and Headcanons on Public House Media went to Anime MKE in February 2019 as a member of the press representing Beauties and Headcanons for the first time, where in the past she’s been a volunteer there, as well as a parent con-goer. In this podcast she talks with fellow host Emily Elmquist about the experience of going to a convention, and the unique experiences it brings.

In addition to the girls talking about the different things to do at a convention from family friendly events, the vendor hall, panels, meeting voice actors, gaming and watching everyone’s amazing talents come to life with their cosplay and creativity, they also discuss the charity ball Lindsay was fortunate enough to be a part of which proceeds went to Generations Against Bullying in Milwaukee, which helps young people go from being a bystander to an upstander- taking a stand against bullying in all its different forms.
