Smash Mouth Selected to Perform In All-Star Tribute Benefiting Generations Against Bullying Upstander Student Programs

April 22 2020

Milwaukee, WI, Nashville, Tennessee, April 22, 2020, Generations Against Bullying, a nonprofit organization providing school curriculums, enhanced by student engagement initiatives announced today it has selected international recording artists, Smash Mouth, to perform for the organization’s July 3, 2020 live All-Star global streaming benefit event.

The event is to stream live from Tucker Theater, at Middle Tennessee State University with red carpet coverage beginning 6 pm Central USA.

The Upstander Network’s premier event is sold out through a next generation seat adoption model. A model provided through VrTUO Interactive Studios, LLC, where corporate partners have adopted the venue seats for cause.

The venue seats were adopted by Shear Perfection Academy, which provides accredited courses in cosmetology and other beauty related courses. Retailers and stylists across the country are using their beauty chairs as foundations to stem public engagement and fundraising in a special social engagement challenge.

The organization is paying tribute to iconic artists who were lost to suicide and bad lifestyle choices and covers a broad range of musical genres. The Upstander Network is launching the same day, providing approximately fifty plus million households with pre-show & live alerts to the online streaming community.

The global benefit is being streamed in 4K to smart television platforms abroad by VrTUO Interactive Studios in cooperation with Saylors Brothers Entertainment. The Upstander students are also taking part in the choreography of the event, being used as extras where several hundred students will take part in the show.

Also performing will be GABs 2020-2021 touring artists committed to the upcoming GAB Upstander World Tour and special guests. The event in addition to Smash Mouth will showcase performances by Alayna Carroll, Phenix Red, Daniel Panetta, Randall Vaughn James, The Band Schenk, Erin Gibney, Chasing Lovely and Terrell Davey.

More information about GAB and the event can be found on the GABNOW.Org website under events. The event is the first mainstream event scheduled for public distribution and attendance since the outbreak of the Corona virus lock-down.
