Amy Acherman is a Talent and Organization Development Consultant with over 10 years experience in learning, change and performance programs. She is a positive, creative professional with a passion to help others grow, develop and achieve their goals in life. She has a Master’s Degree in Education from Alverno College and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.

One of the reasons that Amy connected with Generations Against Bullying was that she had experienced bullying during her high school years that impacted her feelings of self-worth and friendships. She had two Upstanders of her own that were a grade older, who helped her build confidence, resilience and self-esteem.

In addition to serving on the board, Amy is currently helping update the Upstander Peer Ambassador Program. She also is a member of the Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee (SWIM) Education and Awareness team working to expand broad-based education around trauma, healing from trauma and well-being to community.
