Melanie Phillips is an entrepreneur, author, visionary, mother, grandmother, and a woman of faith who has a double major in Business Administration/Business Management with a concentration in HR. In Addition, she holds an MBA. Phillips is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women, a Licensed Cosmetologist, and she owns Dvine Hair & Extensions Salon in Milwaukee, WI. Phillips endured two disturbing deaths that would ultimately change her life forever. The death of her childhood sweetheart while in high school and the death of a marriage in 2016. Phillips began writing in 2016 while in the midst of this devastating storm, God spoke and she listened.
It took Phillips to go through the death of a marriage for the scales to fall off her eyes and to her surprise God impregnated her with a series of books “The Mouth of Babes and Yearly Luncheons and Conferences called Strengthen The Bond.” Strengthen The Bond deals with Mothers and Daughters whose relationships are strained, broken, and/or needs improving.
Phillips is an inspirational writer that focuses on families especially the youth. Children are the future, and in many cases, they have no voice. Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” She is also a native Tennessean and currently resides in Menomonee Falls, WI where she is a faithful member of Greater New Birth Church.
