Peer Ambassadors Meeting

Horace Craft was the guest speaker for the October meeting of the GAB Peer Ambassadors at Greendale High School. At times, bullying can result in dangerous situations.

Horace used his experience as a law enforcement officer, personal trainer, and self-defense instructor, to demonstrate how a bystander can defuse a dangerous situation in a non-threatening way. Hopefully, our Peers will not experience any dangerous situations, but they now have some different ways to be able to react in a non-threatening way.

Following Horace’s presentation, the Peers watched GAB’s riveting Bully Movie which defines the epidemic of bullying in our country and the devastating effects bullying has on its victims. The movie emphasizes how critical it is to become an upstander; and, that GAB’s programs offer the desperately needed hope to those being victimized by bullying.
